A one year old birthday girl. Right?
This week, I thought I'd take some time and share some of Eliana's previous birthday parties since I've never done that. Starting with the first because that just makes sense.
This post is also part of Life Made Lovely Monday over at Blessed Little Nest. Go and take a look at more of Life Made Lovely here:
Eliana's black and white party was inspired because of this dress.
And also because I want to make these cupcakes.
It was just a boxed mix, not the frosting... I'm somewhat of a frosting snob.
But they were oh so fun to make!
I purchased paperwhites on clearance after Christmas for decor (and favors).
And we ate black and white foods and drinks.
I made the pinwheels from craft paper.
This goes to show how something as simple as a dress can inspire such a fun party. Which is how we make life lovely. Taking the simple and turning it into something special.
On Wednesday, I'll show you pictures from her second birthday.
Have a Marvelous Monday!
